Therapeutic Approach

I am trained in, and primarily work with, the internal family systems (IFS) model. IFS is a non-pathologizing, evidence-based model that helps us rediscover our authentic selves and explore our intricate inner systems. I am also certified in brainspotting, an effective mind/body approach. Through brainspotting, I work to help individuals gain symptom relief from challenges like depression, anxiety, and trauma. I integrate mindfulness and skill-building into the work that I do to best support clients as they engage in deeper work. As a true social worker, I also utilize a solutions-focused approach to help connect clients to resources that may be helpful to them.

My role as therapist is collaborative and supportive. I am laid back and direct. I deeply care for my clients. I meet them where they are and hope to help them grow in the ways that feel right to them.
